MER Clinic: Boston & Maine RR

This clinic will cover the research of the prototype to develop a model railroad designed for operations that include recognizable key layout design elements. The Boston and Maine’s Eastern Route is an HO layout under construction. The objective is to create a plausible operations oriented layout that depicts The Eastern Route of the B&M. The operating scheme will include through passenger trains, commuter runs, and local freight traffic with switching opportunities in the urban areas along the route.
